Early Life
Alexandre was born in Montreal. As a child, he was always interested in business and numbers. He studied hard and went to the University of Quebec in Montreal. He finished a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting, then decided to learn even more by spending two extra years studying economics.
After finishing school, Alexandre started working at Deloitte, a well-known company that helps other businesses with numbers and planning. You could say he learned the value of being careful, precise, and organized during those years. Alexandre later moved to Bermuda to become Vice President of Operations at BISYS Hedge Fund Services. There, he learned about money and banking on a global scale. He grew as an expert in large financial projects and worked with people from many different backgrounds.
He also spent time as a partner and financial leader at Auven Therapeutics, a company that invests in medicines and healthcare. His job was to make smart decisions about where money should go, helping the company grow safely and successfully.

In 2010, Alexandre J. L’Heureuxstarted working at WSP Global. At that time, the company was called Genivar. Alexandre first joined as Chief Financial Officer, looking after the money and making sure everything ran smoothly. People around him saw that he was good at his job and, within a few years, promoted him to President and CEO in 2016.
Since then, Alexandre has helped WSP Global get much bigger. He led the company through over 90 mergers, which means joining together with other companies to be stronger. With his ideas and careful planning, WSP Global now operates in many countries and is trusted to work on some of the biggest building projects. Alexandre encourages his team to focus not only on profit, but also on making communities safer and better in the long run.
