The Alexander Brothers, known as the “A Team” in luxury real estate, are on trial in New York for serious sex crimes. Tal, Oren, and Alon Alexander face federal sex trafficking charges stemming from alleged assaults on dozens of women.
Trial Details
Opening statements began Tuesday, January 27, 2026, in Manhattan federal court before Judge Valerie E. Caproni. The trial follows a one-day delay due to heavy snowfall and is expected to last about a month with a jury of six men and six women.
Prosecutors charge the brothers with sex trafficking conspiracy and related offenses from 2008 to 2021. They allege the trio drugged women with substances like cocaine or GHB, then raped them, sometimes recording the acts.
Brothers’ Profiles
Oren and Tal Alexander, both 38, co-founded Official Partners, selling high-end properties in Miami, New York, and Los Angeles. They earned the “A Team” nickname for elite deals in places like the Hamptons and Billionaires’ Row.
Alon Alexander, 38 and twin to Oren, graduated from New York Law School and managed the family’s security firm for VIP clients. All three have been detained without bail since their December 2024 arrests.
Allegations Overview
Authorities say the brothers met victims at nightclubs, parties, dating apps, or through promoters. They lured women to luxury spots, covering flights, hotels, and yachts, before assaults.
Dozens of women have accused them; some filed civil suits before indictments. Oren faces extra charges for exploiting a minor in 2009.
Defense Position
The brothers plead not guilty, denying drugging, assault, or coercion. Spokesperson Juda Engelmayer states that no physical evidence, medical records, or timely complaints exist.
Lawyers, including Marc Agnifilo (ex-Sean “Diddy” Combs counsel), argue claims involve consensual sex, group activities, and promiscuity. They claim proof undermines accusers’ stories and suits better state courts, but Judge Caproni rejected dismissal bids.
Court Proceedings
Jury selection wrapped last week with questions on sex and crimes. Prosecutors aim to prove the brothers acted with impunity; the defense will challenge witness credibility.
Additional Florida state charges loom for Oren and Alon. Conviction could mean 15 years to life per count.
