Dean Allen is known for his steady leadership and care for the people and communities he serves. He grew up in the Pacific Northwest, where he worked at his father’s mechanical contracting business and learned the value of hard work from a young age. Dean’s role as the head of McKinstry transformed the company from a local mechanical contractor into a full-service leader in designing, building, and maintaining energy-efficient and sustainable buildings. McKinstry now works in over 15 states, with more than 1,800 employees, serving clients in many areas across the country. Dean believes that making buildings better can help solve environmental and social problems.
