CB JENI Homes has been recognized as a winner of the 2026 USA TODAY Top Workplaces award, a national recognition based on employee feedback about workplace culture, leadership, and engagement.
The Texas-based homebuilder, which operates as a subsidiary of Green Brick Partners, received the honor following an independent survey conducted by Energage, an employee engagement technology company. The survey gathered confidential responses from employees and evaluated organizations on leadership, alignment, workplace satisfaction, and professional growth opportunities.
CB JENI Homes was among 1,661 companies recognized nationwide from a pool of more than 100,000 organizations invited to participate in the 2026 program.
Employee Feedback Led to Recognition
The company said the award reflects its commitment to building a collaborative and supportive work environment across its operations.
“This award reflects the culture we strive to build at CB JENI Homes, one grounded in collaboration and a shared commitment to excellence,” said Steve Schermerhorn, president of CB JENI Homes. “It is also a testament to our leaders who invest in and support our people.”
Energage stated that the Top Workplaces award recognizes organizations that prioritize a people-centered culture and maintain strong employee engagement. The recognition also includes affiliated companies connected to CB JENI Homes and Green Brick Partners, including Normandy Homes, Southgate Homes, and Paragon Property Management Group.
Builder Continues Growth in North Texas
Founded in 2009, CB JENI Homes focuses on building luxury townhomes designed for low-maintenance living. The company has expanded its presence across the Dallas-Fort Worth region and is recognized as one of the area’s major townhome builders. Green Brick Partners, the company’s parent organization, continues to operate residential development projects across several high-growth markets in Texas and the United States.
The USA TODAY Top Workplaces award is based entirely on employee responses rather than company nominations. Organizations with 150 or more employees are eligible for consideration. The latest recognition adds to CB JENI Homes’ growing profile in the North Texas housing sector as the company continues expanding its operations and workforce.
