Leadership plays a key role in helping professionals grow and adapt in a changing real estate industry. To strengthen its mission of developing future leaders, the Women’s Council of Realtors has appointed Tripti Kasal as its new Chief Executive Officer. The organization announced the appointment as it continues to expand leadership opportunities and professional development for its nearly 9,000 members across the United States.
Veteran Real Estate Executive Takes the Helm
Tripti Kasal brings more than 25 years of experience in residential real estate to her new role. Throughout her career, she has held leadership positions in brokerage management, business development, recruiting, coaching, marketing, market expansion, and member engagement.
Before joining the Women’s Council of Realtors, Kasal served as Senior Vice President of Member Engagement at Leading Real Estate Companies of the World. In that position, she led the U.S. member engagement team and worked with independent brokerages to connect them with education, marketing, technology, relocation, and business development resources.
Earlier, she spent 10 years at Baird & Warner, one of the largest independent real estate companies in the United States. She most recently served as Senior Vice President and Regional Manager for the Chicago metropolitan area, where she oversaw brokerage operations and leadership initiatives. Kasal also helped launch the Chicago office of an internet-based residential brokerage. According to the organization, she grew the office from five agents to more than 40 within its first year. She later owned and operated a boutique brokerage in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood.
Focus on Leadership and Professional Growth
As CEO, Kasal will lead the Women’s Council of Realtors’ efforts to support leadership development across the real estate industry. The organization said her work will focus on preparing professionals for leadership positions within brokerages, Realtor associations, multiple listing services (MLSs), technology companies, advocacy organizations, entrepreneurial ventures, and community organizations.
Her priorities include expanding membership, increasing member engagement, strengthening local and state networks, broadening leadership education, encouraging participation in the Performance Management Network (PMN) designation program, building stronger relationships with brokerages and organized real estate, and expanding the organization’s national referral network.
Organization Welcomes the Appointment
Cheryl Keller, the 2026 National President of the Women’s Council of Realtors, welcomed Kasal’s appointment and said the real estate industry needs leaders who can unite people, guide organizations through change, and create opportunities for professionals to succeed.
Keller said Kasal’s extensive leadership experience, business expertise, and ability to build strong professional relationships make her well-suited to lead the organization into its next phase of growth.
Kasal Shares Her Vision
Following her appointment, Kasal said she is excited to lead an organization that has helped develop real estate leaders for decades. She said leadership education, mentorship, networking opportunities, and professional development remain essential for helping members grow throughout their careers.
Kasal added that the Women’s Council of Realtors provides a unique platform where professionals can build leadership skills, expand their networks, and support one another while advancing within the industry.
Addressing the Industry’s Leadership Gap
According to the Women’s Council of Realtors, women have represented the majority of Realtors since 1978 and currently make up 62% of the profession. However, women continue to be underrepresented in many executive leadership positions across the real estate industry.
The organization aims to help close that gap through leadership education, mentoring, networking opportunities, volunteer service, national events, and its referral community. With Tripti Kasal now serving as CEO, the Women’s Council of Realtors plans to continue expanding these programs while helping more professionals prepare for leadership roles across the industry.
