A major financing deal is giving Dimension Energy more room to expand its distributed solar business across the United States. The company has secured $857 million in additional capital, combining a larger corporate credit facility with project-level financing for 29 distributed solar projects. The new funding will help Dimension Energy move more projects from development into construction.

Dimension Energy Expands Its Credit Facility

Dimension Energy announced the new financing on August 17, 2026. The company said the total capital consists of a $200 million increase to its corporate credit facility and a $657 million construction-to-term debt and tax equity financing package.

The additional $200 million brings Dimension Energy’s total corporate credit facility to $650 million. Nuveen Energy Infrastructure Credit and funds and accounts managed by HPS Investment Partners are the lead lenders for the corporate facility. The expanded facility will give Dimension Energy additional flexibility to advance its distributed solar pipeline. The company expects the financing to help projects move more efficiently from development into construction.

$657 Million Package Supports 29 Solar Projects

The larger project financing package will support 29 distributed solar projects totaling 149 MW. The projects are located across five U.S. states: Illinois, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Virginia.

Advantage Capital served as the tax equity investor for the portfolio. MUFG Bank, First Citizens Bank, ING Capital and National Bank of Canada led the debt package, with each serving as a Coordinating Lead Arranger. Fifth Third Bank served as Joint Lead Arranger. The financing will provide both construction debt and tax equity for the projects, giving Dimension Energy capital to continue developing its distributed solar portfolio.

Company Builds on Earlier $650 Million Financing

The latest financing follows Dimension Energy’s $650 million portfolio financing earlier in 2026. That earlier transaction supported a 132 MW portfolio consisting of 25 community solar projects in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey and Illinois.

The latest transaction adds another significant source of capital as Dimension Energy continues to expand its project portfolio. The company said the new financing commitments also reflect its financing partners’ confidence in its execution capabilities, financial strength and scale.

Dimension Energy Targets 1 GW by 2028

Dimension Energy currently owns more than 600 MW of distributed energy assets that are operating or under construction. The company said the new financing will support its growth toward 1 GW of operating assets by 2028.

Since its inception, Dimension Energy has developed more than 1 GW of distributed energy assets and invested more than $2 billion across 600 MW of assets operating or under construction, according to the company. Dimension Energy is owned by Partners Group, a global private markets investment firm.

Rafael Dobrzynski Comments on the Financing

Rafael Dobrzynski, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Dimension Energy, said the new commitments demonstrate the strength of the company’s platform. He added that the capital will allow Dimension Energy to continue scaling its business with discipline and speed.

The financing partners also highlighted Dimension Energy’s project execution and distributed solar platform. Don Dimitrievich, Global Head of Nuveen Energy Infrastructure Credit, said the company’s portfolio quality and ability to execute at scale supported the decision to increase its commitment.

Dimension Energy Continues Distributed Solar Expansion

The $857 million financing gives Dimension Energy additional capital for both its corporate pipeline and a defined group of solar projects. The company will use the expanded financial capacity to continue moving projects through development and construction.

With 29 projects totaling 149 MW included in the latest project financing and a goal of reaching 1 GW of operating assets by 2028, Dimension Energy is continuing its expansion in the U.S. distributed energy market.
