Clear Capital has acquired Restb.ai, a Barcelona-based company specializing in computer vision technology for the real estate industry. The acquisition was announced on May 12, 2026, and marks a major expansion of Clear Capital’s digital property intelligence capabilities.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. According to the companies, the acquisition officially closed on May 7, 2026.

Clear Capital said Restb.ai’s technology will be integrated into its valuation and analytics platform alongside CubiCasa, the digital floor plan company it acquired in 2021. The combined platform is expected to provide lenders, appraisers, investors, and real estate professionals with deeper property insights through automated image analysis and property data collection.

Bringing Computer Vision Into Property Analysis

Restb.ai develops software that analyzes property images using computer vision technology. Its platform can identify room types, architectural features, interior finishes, and property conditions directly from listing photos and inspection images.

The company says its systems process more than 2 billion property photos every month across the real estate sector. Restb.ai also supports more than 1 million real estate agents and works with brokerages, appraisal firms, and Multiple Listing Services (MLSs).

By integrating Restb.ai’s image analysis tools into its valuation products, Clear Capital aims to improve the consistency and accuracy of property assessments while reducing manual review processes.

“Joining forces with Restb.ai allows us to modernize the valuation landscape,” Clear Capital CEO Duane Andrews said in a company statement. “By embedding property intelligence into our valuations and mobile floor plan technology, we’re increasing the accuracy of decision-making for housing finance.”

Focus on Digital Mortgage and Valuation Workflows

Clear Capital said the acquisition will help strengthen digital valuation and mortgage workflows as the real estate finance industry continues shifting toward data-driven property analysis.

The company has been expanding its technology platform in recent years. In 2025, private equity firm GTCR made a strategic investment in Clear Capital to support growth and technology expansion. Restb.ai will continue operating under its existing brand following the acquisition while supporting its current customer base.

Xavi Hernando, CEO and co-founder of Restb.ai, said the partnership will help accelerate the use of visual property data across the housing industry.

“Clear Capital shares our vision for turning visual property data into trusted, decision-ready intelligence,” Hernando said in the announcement.

Industry observers view the acquisition as part of a broader trend toward automation and digital transformation in property valuation, mortgage lending, and real estate analytics.
