Running a property business involves much more than leasing buildings. Property managers spend a large part of their day answering resident questions, handling maintenance requests, collecting rent, and managing customer communication. As these daily tasks continue to grow, many companies are looking for better ways to improve operations without replacing the software they already use. New York-based Uniti has taken another step toward that goal with a new funding round.

Uniti Secures $12 Million in Series A Funding

Uniti has raised $12 million in Series A funding to support its next stage of growth. The round was led by Pathlight, with participation from MetaProp, existing investors Prudence, Flex Capital, Alate, and RE VC, and angel investors Romain Huet, Lenny Rachitsky, and Gokul Rajaram.

The company said it will use the new investment to expand its platform across several real estate sectors, including multifamily housing, self-storage, senior living, manufactured housing, and flexible workspaces.

Supporting Everyday Property Operations

Property operators manage hundreds of routine tasks every day. Leasing inquiries, maintenance scheduling, rent payments, customer support, and resident communication often require staff to work across multiple software systems.

Uniti’s platform is designed to work with existing property management (PMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) systems instead of replacing them. According to the company, the platform integrates with more than 15 PMS and CRM systems, allowing property teams to manage workflows through a single platform.

It also supports communication through voice calls, SMS, email, web chat, and WhatsApp, helping property operators stay connected with residents and customers across different channels.

CEO Outlines the Company’s Approach

Francesco Decamilli, co-founder and CEO of Uniti, said the real estate industry depends on consistent execution of everyday tasks. He explained that the company’s goal is to help property operators improve these routine processes while continuing to use the systems they already know.

According to Decamilli, the company focuses on supporting existing workflows rather than asking customers to change the way they manage their businesses.

Expansion Across Multiple Property Segments

With the new funding, Uniti plans to increase its presence in several areas of the real estate market. These include self-storage facilities, multifamily residential properties, senior living communities, manufactured housing, and flexible office spaces.

By expanding into these sectors, the company aims to serve more property owners and management firms that oversee large portfolios and require efficient day-to-day operations.

Growing Customer Base

Uniti says its platform is already being used by companies including Regus, StorQuest, RHP Properties, Storage King USA, and Fora. These customers operate across different parts of the real estate industry, reflecting the platform’s ability to support a wide range of property types.

The company also shared several business performance figures. According to Uniti, one enterprise self-storage customer achieved up to a 214% return on investment, while 94% of pilot projects converted into long-term customer agreements. The company also reported 306% net revenue retention, which it attributed to customers expanding their use of the platform across additional properties and operational functions.

Looking Ahead

The Series A funding provides Uniti with additional resources to grow its business and reach more property operators. As real estate companies continue searching for practical ways to improve daily operations, solutions that fit into existing technology systems are gaining attention.

With support from both new and existing investors, Uniti plans to expand its customer base, strengthen its platform, and continue serving a wider range of real estate businesses. The latest investment marks an important milestone as the company works to support property operators with tools that simplify everyday operations while building on the systems they already use.
